A 55-year-old Prince Edward County man died Tuesday when he was hit by a piece of a tree he was felling.Const. Nicole Lott of Prince Edward OPP said (David) Terry Williams was at the Cressey Apple Orchard on County Road 8 to cut wood for personal use.
As he was cutting a tree, a falling piece landed on him.
A post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death was held Wednesday at Quinte Health Care's Belleville hospital.
